an infrequent blog

I am a software engineer for a small media company, and on the side I work on projects such as VideoTap and DevTree (which is now sunsetted). I reside in rural northern Colorado with my wife and a small zoo of pets (2 cats and 2 dogs).

A goal of mine for 2024, outlined at the end of my 2023 year in review is to pursue excellence in everything I do. Over time, I've realized that one of the many ways to be excellent in the software industry is to write - and thus this blog was born. Content on here will range from life topics to software to whatever I might feel like writing about, so don't expect too much in the way of consistency of both content or posting frequency.
